The Student Operated Press, opened a new newspaper in St Augustine, Florida Tuesday, January 20, 2009. The newspaper, covering all things St Augustine was created to bring the news to the students, residents and businesses of St. Augustine.
Judyth Piazza, the Editor-in-chief of The SOP www.thesop.org said “We saw that a real newspaper was needed in the St. Augustine area and so that is why we’re here.”
