MassageLuXe: A Holiday ‘Gift’ & the Perfect Career Choice for 2013!

As people are looking for that unique gift to give to their friends and family, MassageLuXe and FaceLuXe – two of the most amazing companies in the Health & Beauty industry – have become the only choice; the ‘perfect’ gift for those who want nothing more than rest, relaxation and utter peace. At least for one day a week.

The gift cards available offer someone the thrill of being able to spend the day in ‘5-Star’ surroundings being treated like a Queen, as the aches and pains are taken away. That is what Christmas is all about!

However, the ‘LuXe’ brand is also being looked at this holiday season for quite another reason entirely. They are being looked at by entrepreneurs who are desperately searching for that perfect franchise opportunity where they can become part of a successful organization that will allow them the perk of being their own boss, while also giving them a proven marketing model to earn their way to financial success.

There are many who search the internet for hours, trying to understand the practices of massage and how this one industry became so big, so fast. It is, in fact, a large subject – seeing as that the practice of massage (using ‘touch’ to heal) dates back to ancient times. Eastern and Western civilizations both found that massage could prevent pain, alleviate pain and reduce stress. Therefore, it was utilized in every time period by every human community.

There was no such thing as ‘western medicine’ long ago, and massage therapy became the natural way to heal. It also became a proven way to heal – which is why the ‘LuXe’ brand is held sacred by customers, employees who work hard to become massage therapists, and those entrepreneurs who want to enter an industry that is both popular and necessary in this day of complete and utter stress.

Calling massage therapy a ‘resurgence’ is not enough, seeing as that in the 21st Century it is now categorized as a respected healing method – even by the medical community that now sends patients to massage therapists in order to heal. So learning the roots of the industry is beyond interesting and a must for anyone looking to enter into the massage career.

Going through any civilization, such as the Indian people, you will find data relevant to your chosen career path – the one you will ‘resolve’ to attempt in 2013 when you will become a MassageLuXe franchise owner.

In India, circa 2000 B.C.E., the people believed that massage was actually ‘divine.’ It is still practiced within the confines of the traditional ‘holistic’ community in India, right along with aromatherapy, color, sound and touch therapy.

When we speak about Egypt, we speak about the absolute earliest discovery of massage therapy. Egyptian tomb paintings were found depicting massage, and the Egyptian culture is credited with reflexology – which is used a great deal by western medicine.

When it comes to China, texts speaking about massage date all the way back to 2500 B.C.E., when the Chinese developed massage therapy using the expertise of doctors in traditional medicine combined with martial arts practitioners who used ‘touch’ for relaxation purposes. From acupuncture and acupressure came the massage treatments used with herbal remedies, dietary therapy and exercise.

Massage found its way into the ‘sports’ arena in Greece – home of the athlete. Around 800 B.C.E., the Eastern philosophies interwove into Western civilizations, and athletes in Ancient Greece used massage in order to keep their bodies in absolute prime condition. Physicians utilized everything from oils and herbs to massage for their great competitors, while the Grecian women used the oils as beauty treatments.

Although massage did decline in popularity up until the 1800’s, there were still physicians and scientists who never stepped away from the positives that came from massage. Most especially, the Swedish people were the ones to bring massage therapy back full force when they worked on their own athletes in order to treat physical aches and pains. Then, in the 20th century, massage techniques became a necessity once more. Physicians in WWI and II used various massage techniques in order to treat everything from nerve injuries to brain/shell shock.

What many believe to be a ‘luxury’ that only the elite social class could afford became a truly respected form of alternative medicine that all of society needed to have. And not only are more and more people choosing massage as a career path and becoming educated and licensed in the industry, but a place like MassageLuXe was developed, created and offered to the masses as a place to truly feel better and live healthier lives.

So when you’re looking for that ultimate Christmas ‘gift,’ you need look no further than a gift card or a membership to the ‘LuXe’ world. And if you’re looking at a gift for yourself – the start of a brand new career that could make 2013 the best year of your professional life – MassageLuXe is the ONLY place to visit!
