WILLIE GREEN IN CONCERT
Blues legend and Eclipse recording artist Willie Green will perform two special July 4th concerts in St. Augustine. Admission is free to his 2-6 p.m. show at the Lincolnville Summer Sunday Music Series at St. Benedict Shady Field, 100 M.L. King in Lincolnville (bring a chair) – food, drinks and family fun! From 9:30 p.m. ’til closing, Willie and his Blues Project Band will perform at Café 11, 501 A1A Beach Boulevard in St. Augustine Beach. $10 cover charge. ST. AUGUSTINE’S FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Have a blast at one of the East Coast’s largest fireworks shows! The spectacular fireworks burst above the ancient Castillo de San Marcos and reflect in the waters of Matanzas Bay. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. in the Plaza de la Constitucion with a two-hour concert by the All Star Orchestra featuring big band and swing hits along with patriotic favorites. MORNING AFTER BEACH CLEAN-UP

Keepers of the Coast will conduct its second annual “Morning After” Beach Clean-up to restore the coastline from the impacts of July 4 – traditionally, one of the busiest beach days of the year. To help clean our beaches, simply show up from 8-11 a.m. at one of the following beach access points: Mickler’s Beachfront Park, Ponte Vedra; Vilano Beach Access Ramp; A Street Beach Access Ramp, St. Augustine Beach; Butler Beachfront Park East, Crescent Beachfront Park and Fort Matanzas Beach Access Ramp. Garbage bags will be provided and there’s a prize for the person collecting the most cigarette butts at each location. For more information, go to www.keepersofthecoast.org or call 904.814.1299.

NOTE: St. Johns County residents with a valid ID are always admitted free of charge to Government House Museum, the Lightner Museum, the Colonial Spanish Quarter Museum, the Fountain of Youth (special events excluded), the Ximenez-Fatio House, the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, and the Spanish Military Hospital Museum. The daily tours and wine tastings at the San Sebastian Winery are free to everyone. Also, admission is free to everyone at the Authentic Old Drug Store, Fort Matanzas National Monument, St. Photios Chapel, the Pena-Peck House and the Father Miguel O’Reilly Museum (donations are welcomed).
