NIGHT OWL CINEMA RETURNS IN ITS 3RD SEASON TO THE ST. AUGUSTINE AMPHITHEATRE

The Saint Augustine Amphitheatre is proud to announce the return of Night Owl Cinema for its 2010 spring lineup. Night Owl Cinema is a fun, free outdoor movie series that is open to the public. The spring 2010 series features some popular films of more recent years in addition to cinema classics. Show time is 8:00 pm, admission is free and concessions are available.

Saturday, March 27th, 2010 – Iron Man (PG-13 Parental Discretion is advised)

Robert Downey, Jr. stars as Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist that happens to be an engineering genius. To survive an accident that occurs when he is demonstrating his company’s technology, he creates an armored suit to sustain his life. When he heals, he decides to use his technology to fight crime and leads a double life as Iron Man in this comic book adventure. Run time 126 minutes.

Friday, April 2nd, 2010 – Breakfast at Tiffany’s (NR)

Audrey Hepburn stars as Holly Golightly, a socialite with an intriguing past in this highly rated comedy based on the 1958 novella by Truman Capote. Struggling writer Paul Varjak (George Peppard) moves into a New York apartment building and becomes intrigued by his pretty, quirky neighbor Holly Golightly. Holly’s lifestyle confuses and fascinates Paul; in public she flits through parties with a glamorous, sophisticated air, but when they’re alone she changes into a sweetly vulnerable bundle of neuroses.
