St. Johns County Administrator Michael Wanchick will be holding public town hall meetings starting Tuesday at the St. Johns County Convention Center at the World Golf Village.

Because of the county’s diminishing economy, Wanchick wants to hold these meetings to discover what is truly important to the people of St. Johns County and what is superfluous.  Along with open dialogue on the county’s state of affairs, Wanchick plans on discussing local deficits and programs.  Wanchick will use the public feedback in the Fiscal Year 2010 Recommended Budget.

The meetings will be held at the dates and times below and are open to the public:

Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., St. Johns County Convention Center at World Golf Village

Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library

Thursday, 2:00 p.m., Anastasia Island Branch Library
